The City of Fort Lauderdale continues to work with Murphy Pipeline to install a new 42-inch sewer force main to upgrade infrastructure, create redundancy, enhance reliability, and improve services for our neighbors.
The Contractor plans to mobilize the week of January 4, 2021, to perform the next phase of underground directional drill for this project, which will take place on NE 15 Avenue between NE 13 and NE 8 Street. Please see the enclosed map for road closures and traffic detours for this construction activity. This phase is estimated to be completed in 12 weeks, through the end of March 2021.
As the project progresses through the neighborhood, the contractor will work with neighbors to maintain access to individual properties.
Please follow posted signs and drive with caution in the area. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank our neighbors for their continued patience as we work to upgrade our sewer system as quickly as possible.
